Exactly 50 years ago, Antonio Robalo, still active today and chairman of the board of directors of all companies in the Group, opened his first store open to the public specialized in selling housewares. On 18.03.1970 opened, after 3 months of major works to improve the building, Dipol in Rua de Sta. Catarina in Porto.
A life of delivery, dedication and arduous work combined with an unusual ability and entrepreneurship above the common, allowed throughout the times, not always favorable as the ones we live in today, create its empire of work and infuse to the descendants the same sense and direction of life.
